After Your Visit

Morpheus8 Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential for healing, minimizing irritation, and optimizing collagen stimulation and results.

First 24–72 Hours

  • Expect redness, warmth, swelling, and a sandpaper-like texture.
  • Use gentle cleanser and moisturizer.
  • Keep skin hydrated.
  • Avoid touching or picking.

Avoid for 48–72 Hours

  • Strenuous exercise
  • Excessive sweating
  • Saunas
  • Hot tubs
  • Steam rooms
  • Swimming pools
  • Hot showers

Skin Care Restrictions

  • Avoid until fully healed: retinoids/Retin-A, exfoliants, glycolic acids, irritating vitamin C, scrubs, harsh actives.
  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours or as directed; mineral makeup is preferred when restarting.

Sun Protection & Recovery

  • Avoid direct sun exposure.
  • Wear SPF 30+ daily.
  • Avoid tanning beds and self-tanner.
  • Use gentle hydrating products and stay hydrated.
  • Use cool compresses if needed.
Heat can worsen swelling and irritation while you heal.
