After Your Visit

O-Shot Aftercare

Proper aftercare helps support healing, comfort, and optimal results.

First 24–72 Hours

  • Mild swelling, tenderness, or sensitivity is normal.
  • Apply ice packs intermittently for comfort.
  • Keep the area clean and dry.
  • Wear supportive underwear.
  • Stay hydrated.

Avoid for 3–5 Days

  • Sexual activity
  • Strenuous exercise
  • Heavy lifting
  • Biking or horse riding
  • Aspirin, NSAIDs, and alcohol

Hygiene Care

  • Keep the area clean and dry.
  • Use gentle cleansing only.
  • Avoid harsh soaps, lotions, or fragrances.
  • Do not submerge in water (baths, hot tubs, pools) for 3–5 days.
  • Wear loose, breathable clothing.
These restrictions help prevent increased swelling, irritation and bruising.
