Ordinary microneedling injures the surface and lets healing do the rest. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency energy delivered at a controlled depth, so the remodeling happens in the deeper dermis and the fibrous layer where laxity actually lives.
That depth control is what makes it versatile. Set shallow, it addresses texture, pores and acne scarring. Set deeper, it contracts the fibrous layer under the skin — which is why it’s used along the jawline and under the chin, and why it works on the abdomen, arms and knees as well as the face.
A treatment is $800 and a series of three is $2,100 — typically several hundred dollars less than the same series quoted on the east side. Three sessions about a month apart is the usual plan, with results building for several months afterward as collagen remodels. Typically two to four days of redness resembling a sunburn, sometimes with a faint grid pattern and mild swelling. Most people are presentable with makeup the next day.
Topical numbing is applied first, and most patients tolerate it well — described as heat and pressure. Deeper settings on the jawline and neck are more intense than facial settings.
